Residential Treatment

Residential treatment programs may be useful when caretakers are exhausted from fighting the eating disorder, when patients are unable to break the cycle of maladaptive eating behaviors, or when the home environment significantly impedes recovery. However, no systematic studies to date have demonstrated the effectiveness of these programs.
