Tf consistent pain relief is achieved with intermittent stellate ganglion blocks, a continuous block should be considered. Catheters can be placed fluoroscopically by using the anterior approach at C7. The catheter should be placed close to the lateral portion of the anterior surface of the body of C7 on the affected side. A continuous infusion of 0.1% to 0.25% bupivacaine or intermittent injections of bupivacaine can be used. There is about a 50% incidence of catheter migration requiring replacement.[113
