1. Immediate removal from source of exposure.

2. Administer 100 % oxygen.

3. Treat convulsions if present.

4. Monitor basic physiological parameters: pulse rate, blood pressure, arterial oxygen concentration, electrocardiograph.

5. Measure carboxyhaemoglobin concentration.

6. Consider treatment with hyperbaric oxygen.
